Ariadne
was the first kid born here, and is a favorite--the older she
gets, the more dear to me she becomes. She is naturally uphill
and level--one of those does that looks great just walking around
the pasture, and has only become more beautiful with age. She
has the elegant silhouette characteristic of Paco's daughters;
classifier Sandi Liska called her "a beautiful profilin'
doe." Ari milked 3.7 lbs with 5.1% butterfat at 54 days fresh
on one-day test in 2004, to earn her *D. Udder shot below is for
her 6th freshening at 7 years old; based on my barn records, at
7 years of age she produced more milk than ever. Now on DHI she
will have a chance to prove it. We've retained her 2006 daughter
by Rio, Danu,
her 2007 daughter by Hunk, Aphrodite,
and her 2008 daughter
by Max, who needs a really special name!

Flash: I am very excited that Ariadne earned a linear appraisal
score of 91 EEEE this year (2008)at nine years of age; I've always
believed this doe was very special. Every kid she gives me makes
me love her even more.
