We
bought Roanoak because of her very interesting pedigree. She has
really been a pleasant surprise, and we are very happy with her.
Her udder has some of the best attachments in the herd. From one
picture I have seen, it looks like Roanoak's udder is even an
improvement over Virginia's
in height and width of rear. Roanoak has at least one daughter
with a very nice udder.
We retained her 2006 daughter by Giacomo,
Maia. Bred to Rio; delivered 12/5/07.
Kidding
record (since we have owned her): 2006, triplets
by Giacomo; 2007, buck/doe
twins by Rio; 2008, bred to Lancelot for September.
