Our
February surprise! I really like this kid, and so do the judges,
but they always like one other kid just a little more. That's
okay with us. She looks just as nice standing in the pasture as
walking in the show ring. She has a naturally level topline and
beautiful neck blending into her shoulders. Leprechaun's get are
known for their slow developement, and as Ceili is Leprechaun
in spades, we think she is right on track. Bred to Rebel for late June, 2008

Thank
you Carol! This beautiful polled doe is a repeat of the breeding
that producedher lovely sisterThimble,
retained by Kids Corral. She is just what I was hoping for. Bred to Lancelot for July, 2008.

Amazing
width of escutcheon and between the hocks on this one.
She is an interesting Twink's Pixie/Surprise cross, and all of
the udders in her immediate pedigree are super--here is Virginia's.

(Photo
by Declan.) Well, I don't want to jinx myself, but she is the
spitting image of her dam at this age. Won her Junior leg at the
tender age of 3 months, at her first show. Bred to Max; due July, 2008.

The
third of our Turner Ashby daughters has returned home. Okay, don't
give me a hard time about her color. It's the same as Stella's
and Niniane's, whatever that is. Maybe a strange shade of chocolate?
Genetically it could be gold, chocolate, or chamoisee. Still TBD.

This
is one that hit the ground and said "Tah-dah!" as Kellye
Bussey has been known to say.
One of those kids that looks nice all the time running around
the pasture, and one of the first into your lap if you should
happen to sit down out there. You don't have to stack her to get
her to look like that, she just does--the day she finally caught
the judges' eyes, they couldn't take them off her. Not a bad pedigree,
either. Declan's pick for 2006. A good case study of Hunk's ability
to improve an udder, we hope.

5 Alarm Prism (Flat Rocks Numbscull x Flat
Rocks Spoiled Rotten) |
One
of our new additions from Flat Rocks, latest addition to our polled
lineup, and a Gem daughter, which makes her incredibly precious.
Galena is not the friendliest goat nor the prettiest color, but
if she has her dam's udder, we'll be ecstatic. In fact, if she
has her sister's udder (Flat
Rocks Prism, at Olson Acres), we'll be ecstatic.

At the very
least we are expecting a ton of milk from this one. She has a
beautiful face, which is usually laughing at me as it runs away
at top speed...
